At 20 it’s quite understandable to think these thoughts. The world is your oyster and it is very much way too early to be “realistic” about things. It certainly is possible for whirlwind romance to blossom into a stable relationship — some people have this experience and are blessed by it. It is not terribly common, however, but as I say, at 20 that issue is not something that should be at the forefront of your mind.
